Cooking Experiment #1

Today and hopefully for the rest of this month I plan on creating something edible from the ingredients I already have in the kitchen.  Today’s experiment was an eggy-cheesy bake.

Ingrediants:

eggs

cheese

bread

seasonings (whatever you want, I used chopped garlic, salt, mustard, and paprika)

First, line the bottom of a baking pan (a small one with thick sides) with ripped up bread.  Smush it down so the bottom is cover. Next, layer it with cheese.  I used a colby-jack but any cheese will do.

In a bowl, mix the eggs with seasoning.  Since whisking introducing air into the egg mixture you’ll want to whisk for awhile so that the eggs will be nice and fluffy. Pour over bread and cheese.

Bake at 350 in the oven for about 25-30 min, until the eggs are fully cooked.  (stick a toothpick or something and if it comes out clean then its ready
